It depends on the type of suit required, but designer suits usually take longer.

2. WHAT TYPE OF SUIT CAN I HIRE?
Anything you require ? from traditional tails to hand made silk suits.

3. HOW DO I ENSURE A PERFECT FIT?
You can call into one of our shops, email or fax us your requirements. We will let you know what measurements we require.

4. WHEN DO I COLLECT MY SUITS?
For a weekend wedding, your suits will be ready to collect on Thursday. For a Friday wedding, they will be ready to collect on Wednesday. However, if you would like to collect your suits earlier, then this can always be arranged.

5. HOW MUCH WILL IT COST?
It depends on your requirements, but a basic suit can cost from as little as £50.

6. DO I NEED TO LEAVE A BOND?
Yes, a minimum of £100 per person. This is fully refundable when you return your suits on time.

7. WHEN DO I HAVE TO RETURN MY SUITS?
Normally on a Monday, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed.

8. CAN I TAKE MY SUITS ABROAD?
Yes, you can hire your suits from one day to over a month. You may want to includes a party when you get home - it will be less expensive than buying.

9. CAN I BUY MY SUIT?
Yes, any item hired can also be bought.

10. WHAT HAPPENS IF I DAMAGE MY SUIT?
Don?t worry, for a small additional cost, ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE INSURANCE will be added to your order.

Terms and Conditions of Hire

1. Deposit


A minimum deposit of £100 per wedding party is payable upon booking.

2. Fitting

  • The Hirer must attend the Shop on the Fitting Date and try on all garments to ensure they fit.
  • If the fit is not satisfactory please report this to us immediately or not later than 12 noon on the day following the Fitting Date. We cannot accept any responsibility if you fail to do this.
  • If garments do not fit satisfactorily or have any other fault further visits to the shop may be necessary.
  • All garments are quality checked and processed after each hire and every effort is made to ensure the quality is to a high standard and that garments are free from any defects. However, due to dry-cleaning there may be a slight shading difference in garments, especially where garments are ordered for a large wedding party.
  • As children's size change significantly whilst they are growing the Hirer should arrange for a re-measure 4 weeks prior to the function to confirm the sizes required. This will allow plenty of time to amend the order if necessary. It is not uncommon for children's garments to need several fittings.


3. Suit Return

  • All garments are to be returned to the store on the Monday after the event unless alternative arrangements have been made.
  • All garments must be returned by the stated Return Date. Failure to do so will result in an excess charge of £10 per suit per day after the stated Return Date.


4.Cancellation of Order

  • In the event of an order being cancelled, any deposit will be non-refundable.
  • In the case of any special orders, you may be required to pay in full more than 30 days prior to collection. If cancelled, no monies will be refunded.
  • All orders must be paid in full 30 days prior to collection date.
  • In the event of an order being cancelled within 30 days of collection. No payment will be refunded.


5. Extended Hire

  • Hire orders may be extended for additional weeks at a rate of 50% of the normal weekly hire charge for additional week or part week.


6. Accidental Damage Waiver (ADW)

  • Payment of Accidental Damage Waiver at a cost of £5.00 per person covers any charges that would arise following damage to any or all of the garments, this does not cover theft, loss or malicious damage. Please note that Top Hats are NOT covered by this waiver.


7. Security Deposit

  • You will need to fill in your credit card details on your receipt, including house number, postcode and security number. Otherwise a £200 bond will be needed on collection of your suit(s) which will be refunded in full on the return of your suit(s) in a satisfactory condition on the return date before 2pm.
